Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Jacob Radcliffe (Fulham, Londres, 23 de julho de 1989) é um ator britânico nascido na Inglaterra, conhecido por interpretar o personagem Harry Potter em todos os filmes da série.

Filho do agente literário Alan Radcliffe e da diretora de elenco Marcia Gresham. Desde os cinco anos dizia que queria ser ator, mas foi somente em 1999, que começou sua carreira com "David Copperfield" da BBC. Após isso gravou "O Alfaiate do Panamá". David Heyman, um dos produtores de Harry Potter, estava procurando por um ator que pudesse interpretar o jovem mago, e ele era amigo do pai de Daniel.

Foi quando em um dia, durante uma peça de teatro a qual Daniel e seu pai, Alan assistiam a peça, que o produtor não desgrudou os olhos do garoto. Logo ao fim do espetáculo,ele foi até Alan e lhe disse: "Ele poderia ser Harry Potter" e convenceu a família de Daniel a deixa-lo fazer o teste, no qual acabou sendo escolhido. Nas férias entre as filmagens de o Cálice de Fogo e Ordem da Fênix, Daniel Radcliffe filmou December Boys na Austrália que teve sua estréia no final do ano de 2007. Também teve uma pequena participação no seriado Extras e participou da peça teatral na Inglaterra chamada Equus e tem causado muita polêmica pelo fato do ator aparecer nu e ter que montar em um cavalo em uma cena da peça. Atualmente Daniel tem 20 anos e mora em Londres com os pais.

Son of literary agent Alan Radcliffe and Marcia Gresham cast of director.
